SSC GD Constable Result 2019, Cut Off Marks & Merit List

SSC GD Constable Result 2019 will be available on the official website of Staff Selection Commission (ssc.nic.in). The candidates can check their SSC GD Result for the written exam on 31st May 2019. The aspirants can check the result from the direct link given here once declared by SSC.

The SSC will declare the result of SSC GD Constable 2019 in three stages – Computer-based written exam, Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical examination.

Update (21-06-2019): The Staff Selection Commission has declared the SSC Constable GD Result 2019 on 21st June 2019 for Computer-based examination.

The Staff Selection Commission has successfully conducted the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Exam. More than 30 Lakh aspirants have taken the exam, and now they are looking for SSC GD Constable Answer Key 2019 and SSC GD Result 2019 over the internet.

SSC GD Selection Process

The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

  • All candidates whose online applications are found to be in order will be called to appear in the Computer Based Examination. The Commission will conduct the exam for all applicants in Computer Based Mode only.
  • Computer Based Examination will be held in English & Hindi only.
  • The number of candidates shortlisted for PET/PST based on merit in the Computer-Based examination will be around 10 times the number of vacancies.
  • Only those candidates who qualify in PET/ PST and are shortlisted for DME by the Commission and whose documents are found to be in order will require appearing in the DME which will be conducted as per revised uniform guidelines for recruitment medical examination issued by ADG (Medical) CAPF dated 20/5/2015. Detailed Medical Examination is mandatory but of qualifying nature.
  • Collection of required eligibility certificates/ documents from the candidates and their verification with original documents will be carried out at the time of Detailed Medical Examination (DME) by the CAPFs.
  • On the basis of aggregate marks scored by the candidates in Computer Based Examination, the final selection of candidates, along with force allocation, in each category namely, Un-Reserved, SC, ST, OBC and ex-servicemen will be made separately for male and female candidates in respect of each State/ UT and further earmarked category of Border Guarding and Militancy/ Naxal affected Districts wherever applicable. Selection of the candidates for NIA and SSF will be made on All India basis.
  • Allotment of CAPFs/ Organizations to finally selected candidates will be made based on ‘merit in Computer Based Examination’-cum-‘preference of CAPFs/Organization’ exercised by the candidates in the online Applications submitted by them.

How To Check SSC Constable GD Result 2019?

The candidates can check their SSC Constable GD Result 2019 through online mode only. The commission will not send the result of SSC GD exam via post or any other method. The aspirants are advised to download their result of SSC GD Constable exam and keep at a safe place till the final selection process end.

According to the latest notification from SSC, short-listing of candidates for PET/PST and Medical Examination will be done based on normalized marks scored by the candidates. SSC GD Final Merit List, as well as the selection of candidates, will also be made based on normalized marks.

SSC Constable GD Merit List 2019

SSC Constable GD Result is generally announced in the form of a list of shortlisted candidates, i.e. list of candidates based on merit.

Due to massive contestants, SSC Constable GD Merit List is the most awaited document for all the candidates. Only those candidates will be found qualified for the next phase of the recruitment process or allotment whose roll number is in the merit list of SSC Constable (GD) 2019.

SSC GD Constable Cut-off Marks 2019

The SSC GD Constable Cut-off marks 2019 is the minimum mark to qualify the Computer-based examination. The Staff Selection Commission has already set the eligibility score which is as under:

  • General and Ex-Servicemen: 35%
  • SC/ST/OBC: 33%

Competitors scoring less than the cut-off marks in their respective category will not be shortlisted for next the round.
